Oppo A38 Introduces Impressive 50 MP Camera and Rapid 33W Fast Charging in a Quiet Launch

Following last week's appearance, the Oppo A38 has quietly made its debut on the company's website in the United Arab Emirates. As anticipated by the leaks, the phone features a 50 MP primary camera and a modest LTE-only chipset, despite the widespread availability of 5G in major urban areas across the country

The Oppo A38 boasts a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, offering a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and a responsive 90 Hz touch sampling rate. At the top of the screen, you'll find a discreet waterdrop notch housing a 5 MP selfie camera. On the rear, the phone sports a dual-camera setup, but it's the primary 50 MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus that takes center stage, while the second lens is a 2 MP depth sensor, serving a supporting role.

Powering the device is the Mediatek Helio G85 chipset, coupled with 4 GB of RAM and a generous 128 GB of internal storage. For those needing even more storage space, the microSD slot offers the capability to expand storage by up to an additional 1 TB

Oppo has outfitted the A38 with a substantial 5,000 mAh battery, complemented by 33W SuperVOOC charging capability alongside basic PD (9V/1.5A) support. Additionally, the Oppo AE division has committed to providing software updates for the phone for a commendable duration of 2.5 years. This extended support is a notable advantage for a device positioned in the affordable price segment

Some noteworthy features of the Oppo A38 include its dual SIM functionality, a convenient 3.5 mm audio jack, support for the latest Bluetooth 5.3, and compatibility with all major GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) standards. The phone will be offered in two stylish color options, Glowing Black and Glowing Gold. However, details regarding pricing and availability are currently unavailable.
